This week I had the immense pleasure of attending a fashion show for one of my favourite wedding designers, the very talented Berta. The Wedding club hosted a spectacular event at the Savoy Hotel, featuring the European launch of Berta’s Fall 2017 collection. The Lancaster Ballroom was filled with future brides, press, and blogger’s like my self patiently waiting to get the first glimpse of Berta’s masterpieces, it was most certainly worth the wait. Berta’s collection was unique to say the least, the luxurious fabrics, and handmade produce would have you swooning in a matter of moments.
The renowned wedding planner Bruce Russell soon took the microphone to introduce himself and begin the event, the lights turned on highlighting the runway, soft music played as the crowd was silenced with all eyes on the catwalk, patiently anticipating the first glimpse of the designers divine collection.
Berta’s fall collection was absolutely breathtaking, with white, gold, and ivory shades you can instantly tell the amount of time and dedication put into each gown. The sparkles, luxurious lace, low backs and plunging necklines simply left the crowd lost for words.
The detailed veils, capes, and long trains added glamour and style to the show-stopping silhouettes. It was an absolute pleasure to watch. After the show ended, guests enjoyed a selection of delicious canapés, and a goody bag filled with great offers, and samples for the future bride-to-be’s.

Highlights of the event
The ballroom was beautiful decorated for the occasion, with a seated floor plan each table was perfectly located so guests can have a full view of the catwalk at any angle. The unique centerpieces styled by InWater Flowers were the first thing that caught my attention, with two different designs that fit perfectly within the overall theme.
I was greeted with a choice of champagne, coconut water, or a refreshing cocktail, as I made my way through to meet some of the amazing suppliers. My first stop was the sweet table (I couldn’t resist) GC Couture have gone above and beyond with their bespoke treats from cupcakes to cookies and even macaroons.
As I made my way through the crowd a table full of sparkle and shine caught my eye, a selection of beautiful bridal accessories by TerryTerry and Talulah Loves Trinkets. I was interested to discover that most of the accessories were handmade, and others even had individual crystals set in-place.
