Fruit Centrepieces

Summer is finally here, which means colourful dresses, gorgeous tans, beautiful flowers, and wedding season. I am constantly searching for new wedding trends in particular centrepieces, and creative ways to decorate a venue. Fruit centrepieces have become increasingly popular especially for summer weddings, this colourful assortment is not only pretty on the eye, but easy on the budget too. Whether placed in a vase, or on the guests tables this arrangement will add mystery into your special day.

Just like flowers, fruits come in a vibrant range of colours that would compliment any wedding theme, such as Apples, Oranges, Grapefruit, Watermelon etc.

Fruits in Vases

If you like the idea of using fruits but can’t let go of the traditional flower centrepieces, that’s fine! You can combine both. I love the look flowers in a clear vase filled with fresh-cut fruit.

Incorporate smaller fruits, like cascading grapes or cut kiwi, into floral arrangements as an interesting filler or cluster fruit with a rind in glass hurricanes to create centrepieces without any flowers at all.

Fruits on the table

These gorgeous fruits centrepieces and displays are not only suitable for summer weddings but they can also be incorporated into autumn and winter weddings.

Fruit Favours & Place Cards

Just like flowers, fruits vary depending on the season you are getting married, its best to check with the local market before deciding on a particular fruit for your wedding.
