Tucked away in the town of Brighton and Hove lies a luxury bridal boutique that provides brides with far more than just a wedding dress, however an experience that would make you leave feeling like a princess. Mode Bridal is owned by the lovely Jana Svalbe, who I had the great pleasure of meeting with this week. As I was welcomed with a glass of bubbly and a royal treatment that all brides received when they visit Mode Bridal.I began to understand what makes this bridal boutique unique to say the least.
Jana comes from a background of tailored seamstresses, although she decided to venture out into the business banking world, it only took one small incident to change her mind; while accompanying her friend choose a wedding dress, it was that moment that Jana realised a career in the bridal industry is what she is destined for. Establishing Mode Bridal from home enabled her to fight all odds and turn her business into a successful venture that have brides from all over England travelling to.
As I walked into the boutique I found an array of stunning gowns, I was instantly drawn to the sparkle – and plenty of it too – it’s rare to find a boutique that provides such high quality gowns at an affordable price. Jana was kind enough to explain that she is the sole provider of Anna Tumas bespoke wedding gowns in the UK. She went on to explain that if a bride desired an Anna Tumas wedding dress, her measurements will be sent to the designer so that they can start making a bespoke wedding dress just for her, and to keep the bride assured along the process the designer will update Mode Bridal with photos (at no extra cost).

During my time at the boutique Jana showed me some of her favourite wedding dresses by the Spanish designer Novia D’Art.
This gown was a true statement piece, it reminded me a lot of Audrey Hepburn’s iconic wedding dress.
