Todays post will feature the real wedding of Tanille & Jason, who wed on the 29th October 2016 at Torquay Beach – Victoria. The couple met along the beach when Tanille was at the sweet age of seventeen, and happened to meet years later during a night out in Melbourne by chance. This beautiful Rustic-boho beach wedding was a symbol of their everlasting love, as they chose to wed in the same location they first met many years ago.
♥ Their Story ♥
I love my husband. My favorite thing about my partner is the way he makes me laugh, he has the best sense of humor and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. He is the best person I have ever met, he makes me feel like I am complete. He is there for me no matter what. I fell in love with him because he is who he is and I couldn’t imagine my life without him. He’s amazing and I am so lucky to have him. Tanille
How did he propose?
The proposal was romantic and intimate – he proposed in the comfort of our home, traditionally getting down on one knee.
How did you choose your wedding dress?
A good friend of mine owns Fifi & Edga Bridal. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the lucky one. My wedding dress was the first one I tried on and I fell in love the moment I looked in the mirror! I love that the dress is two piece and lace, and that it’s traditional but still showed off my figure. I had no idea what I was looking for when I walked into the store, the dress was the first one I laid my eyes on, the first I tried on and I purchased it right there and then.
What style did you envision for your wedding day?
The style I envisioned for my day was rustic and bohemian. We picked the beach for the wedding location as the beach is where we first met, we both love the beach. We went with rustic and boho as I think it complements the beach and it’s nice and natural, wanted to have a really romantic feel with all the candles, we chose whites roses and baby’s breath as we felt that matched the theme really nice. Our colour palette was just nice natural colours.
What was your favourite moment from the day?
My favourite moment from my wedding day was the one where I saw my husband waiting for me at the end of the aisle.
This beautiful Rustic-boho themed wedding was designed and decorated by the Bride, the flowers, table setting, and wedding favors.
If you could do it all over again, what would you change?
I would probably hire someone to set everything up. We did it ourselves and it was very busy and stressful, but worth it in the end as it looked amazing.
My advice for future brides is to try (key word, try) not to stress out as I promise you that everything works out in the end and all the little pieces will come together just perfectly. Tanille
